A True Son Of Africa Has Gone To Visit His Ancestors.
There is not doubt that Dr Rukono Rashidi has a redeemer and an angel sent from above to spread the truth about Africa, the mother of the world. He passed away on the 2nd August 2021 whilst visiting the land of the blacks Egypt. He devoted his entire life to spread the truth about the hidden truth about the black race, he taught us through his numerous travels that there is nowhere on the world that blacks were not the indigenous people. With untainted evidences, he showed the world that blacks are the most powerful race to survey the plant earth.
Yes, they are indigenous to almost every continent in the world that includes the Australian, New Zealand, China, India, Mexico, West Papua, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Indonesia, America...e.t.c. Global journey in search of the African presence was his Hallmark. He always travel with the sole purpose of finding the true history of the black race and he did it to perfection. Dr. Runoko Rashidi travelled to 124 countries and lectured in sixty-seven of these countries.
He is the author of twenty-two books, his recent books are My Global Journeys in Search of the African Presence, Assata-Garvey and Me: A Global African Journey for Children in 2017 and The Black Image in Antiquity in 2019. His other works include Black Star: The African Presence in Early Europe, published by Books of Africa in London in November 2011 and African Star over Asia: The Black Presence in the East, published by Books of Africa in London in November 2012 and revised and reprinted in April 2013, Uncovering the African Past: The Ivan Van Sertima Papers, published by Books of Africa in 2015. His other works include the African Presence in Early Asia, co-edited by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima. Runoko’s also published four of his works in Paris, French.
Dr. Runoko Rashidi was a great Activist, Historian, Author, Researcher and Essayist who worked with renowned scholars like Ivan Van Sertima, John Henrik Clarke, Asa G. Hilliard, Edward Scobie, John G. Jackson, Jan Carew and Yosef ben-Jochannan.
