A Male Nurse by the name Kendrick a product of Community Health Nurses Training School - Akim Oda who is currently working at Amartey CHIP'S in Kwahu District doing delivery on his way to his outreach area.
This incidents happened on the 1st November 2021 when the nurse was on his way to an outreach but upon see the woman was in labour, he decided to help the lady because there wasn't any means of transportation to the near health facilities.
Master Kendrick is a product of Community Health Nurses Training School - Akim Oda who is currently working at Amartey CHIP'S in Kwahu District, with his in-depth knowledge, he realized the woman could loss her life thus, considering the long journey ahead of her to the nearest CHIPS compound
Master Kendrick, who was off duty has become a talk of social media with his tremendous way of helping a woman in labour to deliver successfully.
At the point of death, this where he realize that the woman was in dying need of help and there wasn't any hospital around or closer, the woman will have to walk for about 2 hours before they can reach the nearest CHIP compound.
There were some two ladies accompanying the woman to the nearest health facility but they had no practical skills or knowledge to rescue the lady from losing her life and that of the baby until Master Kendrick opted to help.
Ghana Media Online can confirm the both the mother and the baby are in good health because after the delivery he also made an arrangement them to go to the near CHIP compound.
