RESCHEDULING OF REOPENING DATE FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS OF PUBLIC COLLEGES OF EDUCATION FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR.
GHANA TERTIARY EDUCATION COMMISSION (GTEC), NOVEMBER 1, 2021
RESCHEDULING OF REOPENING DATE FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS OF PUBLIC COLLEGES OF EDUCATION FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR.
Further to our letter of October 8, 2021 communicating approval for the proposed calendar of the Public Colleges of Education for the 2021/2022 academic year, I wish to advise as follows:
1. That the reopening date for continuing students be rescheduled to early January 2022 2. That the reopening date for First Year students remains January 8th, 2022 as earlier agreed.
The rescheduling is to enable the calendar of the Colleges to align more closely with that of the five public Universities working with the Colleges on the delivery of the B.Ed programme.
Kindly take note of the change and arrange to submit a revised calendar based on the plan of alternating the presence of different cohorts of students on campus for in-person teaching and learning.
Counting on your usual cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
Prof. Mohammed Salifu (DIRECTOR GENERAL)
